Cassis Braid Natural Rug in the Pure Salt for Momeni Rug Line.
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Pure Salt Interiors, an interior design studio and Shoppe known for its coastal look, has announced its first rug line with Momeni, a family-owned rug manufacturer, which will launch at High Point Market, Oct. 22-26.
The Pure Salt for Momeni Rug Line was developed over two years with Pure Salt founders Aly Morford and Leigh Lincoln alongside the design team at Momeni. The hand-knotted rugs lean heavily on natural fibers such as jute and neutral colors. Seventeen rugs will be featured in sizes from 2’x8’ to 10’x14’ with prices ranging from $368 to $8,698.
“Inspired by coastal retreats around the globe, our rug line with Momeni is a curation of pieces that bring together earthy and natural roots with classic and elevated aesthetics,” said Morford. “We wanted to create a collection of rugs that marry form and function and can transport you to a relaxed beach scene near or far, whenever you walk upon them. With a versatile assortment of classic jutes and flat-weaves, to hand-knotted designs that allow you to mix up your look as you please, these rugs allow you to design from the ground up in every room of your home.”
The collection will be available to the trade at Momeni showrooms across the country by appointment only, and consumers can purchase the assortment on Pure Salt’s website or in its Flagship store in Newport Beach, Calif.
Some highlights of the launch include:
- Koukila is inspired by one of Pure Salt’s vintage finds, well-loved Kili. Aly and Leigh designed these rugs with qualities and patterns that bring an authentic approach to a classic look. These hemp rugs are woven to be substantial and durable with stitching for an aged look.
- Cassis is a plush rug in three of Pure Salt’s signature natural colorways — bleach, natural, and walnut — with a classic braided style.
- Menorca are one-of-a-kind hand-knotted designs that are naturally distressed to give them an inherent vintage appeal.
- Patara was designed specifically for Little Salt, the baby and kids brand launched by Pure Salt in 2021. This collection is focused on gender-neutral, natural colors with tufted polka dots.
