What is the difference between a Dyson V10 and V11?

Late last year, we compared the Dyson V8 and V10 models to help you find the right vacuum for your home. As the company keeps pumping out new models with updated technology, it’s time to revisit what Dyson has to offer and compare the V10 and V11 models. We’re going to get into the nitty-gritty details and differences here in a second, but just know as we go along that you’ll be happy with either of these vacuum cleaners.

Gone are the days of having to lug around big, heavy upright vacuums around the house. Constantly having to unplug them, step over the cords, and struggle to maneuver around furniture. You’re tired of it, right? That’s where cordless stick vacuums come in, and Dyson is arguably the best in the business.

These cordless stick vacuums are powerful enough for everyday use, lightweight enough to carry around the house and maneuver around furniture, and packed full of features to make vacuuming far less annoying than it used to be. While there are a few different models available across the V10 and V11 lineups, they all share some of the same great features and benefits.

For example, they’re all less than 7 pounds, offer up to 60 minutes of run time on a single charge, and whole-machine filtration to keep the air in your home as clean as possible. But even though they all share a number of great features, there are some key differences to keep in mind. Let’s take a look.

When we reviewed the Dyson V10 last year, there were three models offered. However, at this time, only the V10 Absolute and the V10 Animal remain available as options. Both of these are cordless stick vacuums that are powered by the digital V10 motor, which uses 14 cyclones to generate extreme suction power that will suck up microscopic particles you’d never see.
